Questions about Code of Conduct Training

What is code of conduct training?

Code of conduct training turns an organisation's written policies into clear, everyday behaviour. LIA's Code of Conduct Training covers values-based decision-making, preventing harassment and discrimination, anti-bribery and anti-corruption rules, protecting company assets, whistleblowing and internal reporting, social media and confidentiality, and managers' duties when concerns are raised.

Why is code of conduct training important?

A code of conduct only protects an organisation if people understand and apply it. In the UK, the Bribery Act 2010 makes organisations liable for failing to prevent bribery unless they have adequate procedures, and training is a core part of those procedures. The Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 protects whistleblowers. Regular training reduces misconduct, encourages early reporting and shows regulators the organisation takes compliance seriously.

Can our own trainers deliver Code of Conduct Training?

Yes, through LIA's Train the Trainer accreditation. It includes the full programme content and methodology, the facilitator guide and materials, supervised practice with coaching, an assessment of facilitation competence and a licence to deliver the programme internally.

Is Code of Conduct Training CPD certified?

Yes. London Intercultural Academy (LIA) is a recognised CPD provider (CPD Provider Number 781813), and every participant receives a CPD certificate on completion.

      Durability of behaviour change

      Illustrative
Durability of behaviour change over 90 days Illustrative: capability under the LIA programme rises through delivery and is sustained across the following 90 days, while typical training peaks at delivery and reverts toward baseline. 90 days after delivery High Base Start Delivery +90 days Retained capability LIA programme Typical training

Isolated training reverts under operational pressure. Structured action planning and 90-day reinforcement hold the gains.
