⦿ Relevance of the story of Malcolm and Makai: How to cope with race and emotion in itself.
⦿ Interrogation to influence racial identity on experiences.
Building Respectful Communication
⦿ Skills in active listening which facilitate understanding in the first instance.
⦿ Arguments that [response strategies] are quite disrobing when meeting peoples’ needs.
⦿ Do not offer a solution or judgment, simply give comfort.
⦿ Physical and emotional support.
Integration of Concepts Practiced
⦿ Role-playing exercises in order to promote empathy and regard.
⦿ Constructing an action plan aimed at improving employee participation and inclusiveness in the workplace.
