About London Intercultural Academy (LIA)

Training That Changes Behaviour

London Intercultural Academy (LIA) is a UK-based workplace training provider specialising in behaviour-change training across leadership, communication, cultural intelligence and emotional intelligence. LIA works with large, international organisations, delivering discussion-led programmes in-person and online across the UK and Europe, with structured learning pathways, assessment and certification.

Our training focuses on how culture and bias show up in organisational settings, particularly in leadership and decision-making.

A lot of our work is with senior groups, where the emphasis is less on awareness and more on how these dynamics play out in practical areas.

We tend to work across large, international organisations, so the conversations are usually grounded in fairly complex, real-world contexts rather than theory.

Our approach is typically discussion-led, using scenarios leaders recognise. It’s designed to be something they can engage with, rather than something that feels like it’s being done to them.

Training for Complex Environments

We partner with organisations to deliver leadership, communication, cultural intelligence, and emotional intelligence training that drives measurable behaviour change in the workplace.

We work with organisations that need their people to perform when it matters, during difficult conversations, high-pressure decisions, and complex team dynamics.

Why LIA

We started London Intercultural Academy because most workplace training does not lead to real change.

Organisations were investing in programmes that looked professional but failed where it mattered, day-to-day behaviour.

So we built LIA around a clear principle:

Training must change how people act in real situations, not just what they know.

Today, every programme is designed to:

  • Focus on real workplace challenges
  • Build practical, repeatable skills
  • Create visible behaviour change, not just positive feedback

That gap between learning and action is what inspired us, and it is still what drives us.

How Is LIA Different

Because our training leads to measurable behaviour change.

Here is what makes the difference:

  • Every programme is around real workplace situations.
  • Behaviour-focused design to train how people act under pressure, communication, decision-making, leadership.
  • Immediate impact, with changes in conversations, team dynamics, and leadership behaviour.
  • Structured learning pathways, with clear progression, assessments, and certification to ensure consistency and accountability
  • Relevant topics around leadership, cultural intelligence, communication, emotional intelligence, and workplace dynamics

Our Methodologies

Our training is built on behavioural psychology, decision science, and applied communication frameworks. We do not rely on inspiration, instead, we use structured methods that change how people think and act in real time.

Behavioural Psychology

We train around how behaviour works, cognitive bias, emotional regulation, and habit formation. This is why people often “know better” but still act poorly under pressure. We train that gap.

Decision Making Under Pressure

We train how to respond when conversations become uncomfortable and how to stay clear and structured when stakes are high, because pressure does not create behaviour. It reveals it.

Communication Frameworks That Work in Real Time

We give participants clear structures and frameworks they can use immediately, such as: LIC-Prism™ & CCARES™ Framework

Tailored reinforcement and Behaviour Transfer

Our training is designed to include realistic scenarios, application between sessions, and reflection, all tailored to our partners' work situations.

Who We Work With

We partner with organisations where people performance directly affects results. We are brought in when communication, leadership, or team dynamics start slowing things down.

Our standard is simple: If behaviour does not change, the training has not worked.

Our Legacy

London Intercultural Academy (LIA) was born from one vision: to make workplace learning smarter, efficient, and deeply human.

Our team possesses over 15 years of experience in researching and designing training that integrates psychology, culture, and innovation. Today, LIA is recognised as the most innovative workplace inclusion partner for organisations who want to build skills, confidence, and inclusive workplaces. Our training is designed to improve real workplace behaviour, not just knowledge.
